...daughter(11 yrs) in USA who is suffering from skin problem...? My wife and two kids (11 yrs and 9 yrs) are now in usa for the last 15 days to pass their summer vacation....they are suppose to stay there for another one and half months. my daughter has a skin irritation problem for which she is required to use a cream....she was carrying one with her but that is finished and i need to send her one or two...but no courier is taking it as they are not allowed to take medicine, although I have doctors prescription and contact address for clarification...anybody has any idea how to get permission of the US authourity to send the item ?

Can your wife not take the name of the cream she uses and go ask a local pharmacist for the equivelint there in US.. I mean, they usually have everything on earth available there in USA, more so than in other countries...

As long as the medicine is available in the US, have your wife find a local pharmacy (they are all over the place), get their fax number or even an Email address. Then have your daughter's doctor fax the prescription or Email (a scanned image of the prescription) directly to the pharmacy. If the cream is available in the US, doing it this way should save you time as well as shipping expense. There is a chance that there is something better available. Ask the courier(s) to show you in writing where it is against their policy to send what you are trying to send.....if you are set on shipping it.
