puking up blood? My friend says his sister has Multiple Sclerosis and the doctors say she only has 3 years to live. I am thinking they missed diagnosed her b/c she doesn't have the symptoms of MS. The syptoms I remember him telling me she had were vomiting blood and loss of appetite. That doesn't sound like MS symptons, I thought MS is detrioration of the muscles. What could this be symptoms of or does she really have MS. Please help! And yes if you are wondering I have been doing some research and I'll I've found is its symptoms of Chemothearpy. She doesn't have cancer.

Puking Blood & loss of appetite can be symptoms of may things, from ulcers to more serious problems (and one of the possible symptoms of MS is gastrointestinal reflux - which can lead to vomiting blood). They are NOT "symptoms" of chemotherapy, they are side effects of chemotherapy

MS is a disease of the CNS(central nervous system), affecting the brain and spinal cord, and requires extensive testing be done, before the dx of MS is made.If she is vomiting blood, her doctor should be advised of this immediately! Even if she is taking Chemo, she should NOT be vomiting blood.
