Deep down I've always known, but wasn't able to get help on my own. My girlfriend forced me to because of my self-destructive behavior.Still dealing with it, but its getting better now that I have gotten help. Even though it may be my life long struggle, I now want to conquer and/or manage it.The hardest part is knowing that you have a medical condition and it is okay to seek out help and change. It gets easier after that

I suspect it was Adam after he bit into the apple and, after realizing what he'd done with Eve and must have gone into a deep depression as he lamented over what he knew they'd started.What a fine mess he got us into.
