I have had what feels like bad heart burn but pain radiates all the way to left side of chest and into left shoulder blade. Two nights have woke up drenched in sweat and heavy feeling in chest. Pain goes away within a few min. but have been very tired and worn out feeling since then. I am a very busy mother of three and have alot of things on my plate that can cause a stressful spin.....I am 29 years old.

My e-mail address is on my profile. I might be able to figure that out. I had a heart attack at a young age. The only thing that indicates maybe just stress that you mentioned is the shoulder blade part. That might be your lungs restricting air, sort of like an asthma attack. My heart attack felt like very hot air being blown up through the middle of my chest. And it was doing that for a couple of weeks before the heart attack. It was definitely stress related.

I think it's very unlikely you've had a heart attack two nights in a row but I suppose, conceivably, it could be angina even at your young age. Recurrent chest pain and sweats like this requires further investigation by a doctor.

I have had angina, couple of heart failure and a heart attack; I also have a heart disease. All this started when I was 30. I know that heart attacks the pain radiates to the left side of the arm pit and goes downwards; angina is usually in the throat areas and spreads out to the neck section. Stress or heart problem you should have this checked immediately, its very simple and easy for doctors to check it. Your three kids needs you for a long long time, please have yourself checked.

I urge you in the strongest possible terms to have your symptoms investigated immediately. I think the emergency room would be appropriate.Your kids need you, and you need your heart. If your problem is not a heart problem, well, great. That will be good to know. But please don't delay getting help. Chest pain is not something to ignore.

I agree with the RN. Go have it checked out right awya by a medical Dr. If its not a heart attack, you will know it and your stress level will decrease, and whatever was causing it can be looked into. However, if it is your heart, finding out now when your body is "warning" you is much better then when its too late. Again, as the RN said, think of you kids. go right now.
