A miscarriage is when a pregnant woman gives birth before the fetus can live outside the womb ( Before 20 weeks into the pregnancy.) A stillbirth is when a woman gives birth to a baby afer 20 weeks into the pregnancy, and the baby is born dead. It doesnt matter if the baby was dead before it was born, or dies dring delivery, it is still considered a stillborn. With a stillborn, a birth certificate is still made. A birth certificate is NOT made for a miscarriage. Both of these things are very hard for a mother to have to go through.

A miscarriage is when fetus is not yet considered a baby and is not developed yet and could not survive outside of your body and the mother went into premature labor or other complications arise where a dnc has to be done to remove the fetus, a still birth is when a baby of at least 26 weeks has died inside the womb or the mother has had premature labor and delivered a baby that has died. Still birth means the baby has died.
