how did u remove them, was it with pliers? lol Go back to ur doc and ask to be referred to a specialist. How long since ur tonsils were removed is it possible that the surrounding tissue got infected? Either way u should still see someone an ENT consultant

chances are you breathe through yr mouth a lot. Do you work in dusty or pollen environment? Polluted? Do you eat lots of bread and carbs, presevatives and flavourings? The key is yr nose. Do you mouth-breathe at night wehen asleep? You need a steroid nasal spray at night and clean up your diet and environment.

If its a steroid spray stop using it if you can, it will be adding to the problem long term. I shouldn't use anything containing menthol either. Eucalyptus is fine. Pseudephredine is fine but it makes you tired. You are prone to tonsilitis, bad luck. Removing the tonsils rarely helps I'm afraid. Hopefully your immune system will deal with it in time.Put a desert spoon of honey in some hot water and drink. It will soothe your throat and control the infection. Gargling with salt may help if you can stand it. Drink plenty of liquids. Its a good idea to take a good multivitimin supplement when you are on antibiotics. The antibiotics kill the digestive enzymes in your gut. Live yoghurt will help replenish them afterwards.

Well, first you should see a ENT(ear nose and throat)Dr. and also you should maybe get checked for mono. I have this it is called a mono spot test. If you've had mononucleosis before in your life it stays doormat in your system forever and if you get really tired and stressed out it will make your throat hurt and make you tired and yucky feeling. So ask your Dr. instead of antibiotics to do some blood work for possibly mononucleosis (mono) or Epstein-Barr syndrome which basically is the same thing for mono.
