temp. What does this mean from a dietetic or Chinese medicine view I have a gastrointestinal problem that few U.S. doctors are familiar with. So I turned to my dreams to help me find out what is wrong and what treatments are needed (I am a psychologist). The dreams have been invaluable in guiding me to answers which have been very difficult to find. Last night I had the dream cited above and I need help in translating it into very real terms. For example, previous dreams told me not to eat bread, coconuts, fruit, or honey. What all of theses have in common is fructose--and since then it's been verified that I have an intolerance to fructose. This knowledge has guided me to this little known disorder and has allowed me to regain my health through effective treatment. So what might the present dream mean? What about the substances rice and vinegar might be important to my recovery? Why room temperature? Also, I was guided to eat at least part of it once it was a day old? What can all this mean in a dietary or health sense?

I don't have an answer to your question, but I do know that vinegar (and sometimes sugar) is traditionally added to room-temperature rice before using the rice in sushi. So perhaps you are being told to go to a Japanese restaurant. :-)

The rice and viegar is good for your digestive system, because you are intolerance to fructose. in the viewpoint of traditional chinese medicine, rice is essential for normal life for chinese diet.
Viegar should be eat with others, just like garlic, should not with rice.
"room temperature" means that, when you stay in your room, familar with it, you can avoid tension, unfamilar or others. You know, more disorder can cause much disease, once you can peace your heart, more disease will disappear , not need a medicine cure. This is also the viewpoint of traditional chinese medicine.
