I'm a St John Ambulance trainer and assessor in the UK. Over here the assessment has 3 parts to it - a practical resuscitation test (CPR on manikin), an unconscious casualty management test (involving placing the casualty in the recovery position) and an incident management test (dealing with a conscious casualty usually with 2 simulated injuries).

No need to worry about the tests - just try and remember what you've learned. It also helps us mark if you talk yourself through what you're actually doing. Most candidates, even the most nervous, give a competent assessment performance - I've never known a candidate be so inept or unsafe that they've actually failed!
