Sorry for the RUDE answer from "BMAC".Scabies can be from bites from animals mites.You need to go see a dermatologist for the correct medicine.No, don't worry not a sign of STD's at all.

scabies is a parasitic mite that burrows underneath the first layer of skin. it is contagious and is in the same class as head lice and crabs. it has nothing to do with stds. it is treated by a prescription medication called permithrin. you apply it, leave it on for 8-12 hours, then wash it off. while it is settling on your skin, you should take that opportunity to wash all of your clothing and blankets. re exposure will render the treatment ineffective. you repeat the treatment one week later to make sure they are all gone.
