If someone is having trouble with acne, trying to solve the problem yourself via a post from a random on a forum is the last thing to do. See a doctor and get some advice from a professional.

Well WaymmexonaNom, stress definetly is a cause for acne.
Infact the causes range from stress to food to skin texture.
Yes perfumes/deodrants are also culprit.
The simple reasons acne cures don't work is becasue we believe in self medication and not everyone's cause for acne is the same.
You definetely need to see a dermatologist for the same

I used to suffer bad acne on my back. One trip to the doctor, and 2 months later my back was clear. Unfortunately I went a little bit too late and have so minor scaring, but it's not really a problem to me.

yeah visit a doctor, i used to have it too and it was REALLY bad. the local doctor gave me two types of cleansers, a medicinal cream and a semi-strong anti-biotic pills. after about 3weeks of close following up of the methods i saw no pimples/acne whatsoever!!!! but the marks of the 'older' pimples were there and the only way to get rid of them is through laser surgery which is said to be $120 per mark!!! I don't think mines that bad :P
