View Full Version : Has anyone ever asked someone to knock them out
before because they were in a lot of pain? This may sound like an odd question but I know someone that did this once because she couldn't handle the pain she was in. Has anyone been ko'ed in this sort of situation?

Sometimes it's done, but only after a patient is stabilized and the cause for the pain has been diagnosed. For example, if someone comes to an emergency room in pain after an accident - then no. The patient has to remain conscious to talk about the injuries, and talk about how he is feeling, which can clue the staff on other possible internal problems.
Yes happens when you feel that there should be an end to a particular problem or difficuty u are expriencing. and its obvious some people can say it................

.Unfortunately it only works in cartoons and generally being knocked unconcious has physical reprecussions beyond having crosses for eyes and birds circling your head. Never do it, it does not stand up in court as a defence to manslaughter
