Trans fat, HDL's (High density lipids), smoking, excessive drinking, and heredity. Stay away from McDonalds, dont smoke or drink, and research your family tree!

Foods high in saturated fats are the best source if you want to get heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and a whole scope of other problems. Meat, and especially red meat, and worst of all organ meats are the best source of saturated fats. Whole fat dairy products are also high in saturated fats. Eat meat in moderation and NEVER eat or drink full fat dairy products (low fat or no fat) The only reason to drink whole milk is to turn a 40lb calf into a 2000lb cow. Calcium is actually higher in dairy with lower fat. Sorry, I digress. Trans fats are not natural, they are made chemically from non saturated fats - medical research has found that they stick to the inside of your veins and arteries like a SUPER-saturated fat. Stay away from these, period.
