I also have a sinus infection... possibly post-nasal drip. But what really bothers me is the congested chest and the constant production of phlegm from the back of my throat and chest. Any at home remedies? I am currently on promethazine but it doesn't seem to be doing it's job. AAHH!

A member of my family goes through the same thing. Allergies get the mucus production going where one is producing copius amounts of phlegm and you have no choice but to spit is out. If there is an infection then sometimes anti-biotics are used. Drink lots of lemon and honey drinks. Get bowl of steaming hot water and add Eucalyptus oil, or vicks vapour rub, teatrea oil and cover your head and breathe in the steam. You have to try and pinpoint what triggers the allergies like dust or pollen. Usually one has to ride out the attack unfortunately and try and relieve the symptons. Sometimes it takes weeks.Try the vapourised lozenges.Hope this helps.
