View Full Version : Wrist pain?

I have never previously injured either of my wrists, and I haven't had any recent traumas to the area. Today at work I started having wrist pain and weakness, especially when I bend my wrist back or put pressure on something with my hand. The pain shoots where the top of my hand meets my arm. What could this be? I've tried taking ibuprofen as well as using ice on it for 15 minutes off and on and it still feels the same. What should I do for some relief, I really don't feel like this is an emergency so going to the ER is not an option at this point in time. Thanks.

Maybe it's carpal tunnel. Sorry no info on it but it's wrist related...

Have a wrist support, an adjustable one, for the whole day, releasing it every 2 hours, allowing a normal blood circulation in your wrist arteries and veins. When at home, try to move it while massaging it gently under a warm flowing tap water or shower water, and sleep with a not very tight bandage on it.
