...Have tooth ache and need to see dentist.? Medi Cal in San Diego 92123; Any referral?Need a dentist who takes Medi Cal in San Diego. Ant reccomendations?

I could not pass this question without commenting.......I recently had a severe toothache, I was in pain for days......couldn't eat or sleep or take care of my daily responsibilities.......I am sooooooooo petrified of the dentist, so that was the last thing I thought I was going to do.....well to make a long story short; the pain got so bad that it started making my neck and arm hurt also...which really scared me..so reluctantly I called the dentist.....I was so nervous and scared........but I brought myself to go , and it was a good thing I did because I had two infected teeth that were so bad the infection had gone into my jawbone....they had to be removed right away !!!! I explained to the dentist why I had not come before now and he explained to me that if I had been having regular visits ,that we coud have caught the problem before dental surgery was necessary....which made alot of sense!!! So please take my advice and go go go!! If you are just too nervous than go for a consultation and ask for valium or something to ease your anxiety........and from personal experience ...the pain you go through having a dental procedure done, is nothing compared to what a severe toothache feels like!!!! ~I wish you all the best~
