...pain? Why muscle relaxers? I went in for pains and he prescribed flexiril instead of pain pills. Problem is these completely knocked me out. How are you supposed to be able to function on muscle relaxers??

they prescribe muscle relaxers because a c-section cuts through a lot of muscle. also if you are breastfeeding then there are very limited options to prescribe that are safe for the baby. If it is knocking you out I would suggest trying half at a time or asking your doctor for a lower dosage.
