Those are essential fatty acids, so they certainly cannot hurt, and they will probably help. The myelin which forms a protective sheath around nerve cells consists of lipid membranes, of which the omegas are essential components.
I think you already know this but multiple sclerosis is essentially the breakdown of the myelin surrounding your nerve cells. This disrupts the 'messages' coming through and confuses them, gradually slowing them down. In simple terms, think of it as a telephone wire with the rubber coating removed. The words and electrical charges will get all mixed up, and in the end the phone may stop working altogether.Omega 3 is a polyunsaturated fat which speeds up memory and brain power altogether. Although the medical terms are far to complex and too long to type in a short response like this, there was this famous case where a boy with ALD, a disease more fatal but similar to multiple sclerosis, was given a lot of polyunsaturated fats from his parents and recovered completely (but, obviously, the defect did not disappear as it was genetic).Omega 6 and 9 are essentially the same as Omega 3, except that Omega 6 can boost the likelyhood for inflammatory diseases.Basically what Omega 3-s does is fortify the myelin sheathes on the nerve/brain cells. This not only helps multiple sclerosis, but also many other diseases such as autism, ALD. It also makes your body generate more brain/nerve cells. So the answer to your question is...,"YES"I suppose that I didn't have to put everything I did, but understanding is good.

I'm not sure if they help with MS symptoms, but they are supposed to be a good supplement to take. So if it does help with the symptoms, you've got an added bonus!
