Nose bleeds?

since I started working again in London, over the past 6 minths I have had numerous nose bleeds that start without provocation. I might be laying in bed, then i feel a trickle, then it gushes with blood. Similarly today while on train in morning my nose started gushing with blood for no apparent reason. Help please?I am 24, male, very slim, work in IT.

Try drinking more liquids it could be dry weather so then the blood vessel will burst.

It may be the heat or you might have burst blood vessels and may need to get checked by a doctor.

If you're a dry climate, it could be causing your nasal passages to dry up. I'd try an over the counter nose drop. There are several types, I'd just use something to lubricate. I used to live in a dryer climate and your symptoms are exactly what would happen to me. Sometimes it would happen with a sneeze. Other times, I'd just wrinkle my nose and it could literally start bleeding. For me, it would always seem ok, but then I'd get a burning sensation that was pretty strong. And they were bad nosebleeds too. If your sinuses are moist and you feel fine and this keeps happening, you may want to consider seeing a doctor.

yes it could be high blood pressure, or it could be higher levels of stress than usual, which causes your blood vessels to spontaneously burst. if it happens more than on occasion you should for sure mention it to your doctor, or a clinic. Also be carefulof how much salt you consume...as it can dilate your arteries and veins.

I have had this same problem for a long time. I'm only fifteen so you may have something different but my doctor told me that although it wasn't normal there was nothing to worry about. She said it may be from the foods I eat or the weather because I do have allergies. Keep and eye on the foods that you eat because red meat and pork cause some to have severe nose bleeds. It is not necessarily serious so don't get too worried but try and call your doctor to rule out some of the more serious illnesses such as high blood pressure.
