Hey. I am 14 years old, 5'10" and somewhere between 140-145 pounds. I know according to average weight charts or whatever Im not overweight, but I am unhappy with the way I look. I recently started running in the morning and then taking an hour long walk at night. I'm also trying to eat a lot healthier, but when ever I try to stick to a diet, something comes up and I break the diet and I feel like "Whatever, it wont work anyways, I quit." Tips on the best and fastest way to lose weight and get toned for my age would be great. I basically just want the look better before school starts (In 5'ish weeks) But I don't know if what I am doing now is enough. Thanks in advance!

To lose one pound, you must burn approximately 3500 calories over and above what you already burn doing daily activities. Whew...that sounds impossible doesn't it? Here's how it works. 1. Calculate your BMR (basal metabolic rate). Your BMR is what your body needs to maintain normal functions like breathing, digestion, etc. 2. Calculate your activity level. Use a calorie calculator to figure out how many calories you burn while sitting, standing, exercising, lifting weights, etc. throughout the day. 3. Keep track of how many calories you eat. Use a food journal to add up what you eat and drink during the day. If you're eating less calories than you're burning, you'll lose weight.

your height is 177 cms i.e you may build your weight up to 77kg ( i.e up to 170 pounds) even then if you wish to reduce your weight avoid oils / cheese / butter / ghee / meat take a lot of fresh vegetables & fruits do some exercise / "yoga" / walk continiously up to 45 mins daily etcvisit my web http://www.geocities.com/fourwing3
