it depends on how much alcohol he has in one day and how much he earns.. but if he really drinks a lot then maybe he should stop.. since he has a good income, its pretty doubtfull unless he stops his job and just drinks but thats pretty unlikely

I imagine that it is possible to go broke by being an alcoholic, but it also depends what he drinks. Spirits/Whiskey/Liquer/Liquor are much more expensive than beer in my opinion.

YUP! If someone is really addicted to anything (shopping, alcohol, drugs, food, sex...) they can exhaust all their resources, because the addiction usually becomes first before other things. Besides, alcohol is expensive, whether its by the bottle and especially by the glass at a club or restaurant.

I don't know but I'm sure I'll find out... my dad's a Senior vice president though and he drinks everyday. He told me one day "son your not an alcoholic if you can carry a job." Now he's got a mansion. I drink everyday so....? We'll see? You got to love parents.

it depends on how much he spends on alcohol and how much he makes. but most of the time you end spending all of your extra money on alcohol then become broke.

Absolutely--alcoholism and drug addiction drains people financially, emotionally, spiritually, academically, professionally, and personally. Alcohol and other drugs are not free, nor are the consequences such as legal offenses, missing work, etc. In addition, alcoholics and addicts are often compulsive in other ways--gambling, shopping, etc., that cost limitless amounts of money as well. That is to say nothing of the alcoholics who buy rounds for the house to avoid drinking alone. A wide variety of aspects about the disease of alcoholism cost in a wide variety of ways.

absolutely! alcoholism is classified as a disease, you drink, you die. when the addiction takes over, going to work becomes less and less important, your family, friends, and basically anything other than alcohol just doesn't matter, once the insanity kicks in.
