raspberry tea with honey to sweeten it, or if you are really desparate, (this is a family recipie, works miracles but is absolutely disgusting) grated ginger root with honey and a touch of lemon juice, it makes a thick lumpy paste and is excellent at clearing throats, especially if you have a bad cough along with the sore throat.

oregano oil to clear up congestion (or in capsul form) and a home made tea that i love for sore throats is the following:gingerraw honeytumericcayenneclovesfresh onion (a few rings)a couple of cloves of garlicput it all in a couple of cups of water, and bring to boil. there are no real measurements, just kinda eyeball it.really helps!
