Does anyone know if a calcium allergy can cause seizures? My granddaughter was allergic to milk if it touches her skin it turns where ever it touched red. The doctor had given her calcionate and it does the same thing. I can't find any information on a calcium allergy. Any ideas? The calcium that the doctor gave her does the same thing to the touch. It turns her skin red. So she does have a reaction to calcium. She has West Syndrome/Infantile Spasms and I am just trying to figure out if this may be the cause.

i think it wont but a calcium allergy is the body rejecting it because somewhere at sometime she was deprived of it and she does need the calcium just monitor her if she does seize take her to the hospital and get a new one JUST JOKING but do take her to the hospital AND YOU CAN REACT TO A LARGE DOSE OF CALCIUM MORON
