i heard somewhere that soymilk and other soy products aren't good for your skin, unless it is applied topically. I heard that consuming products made from soybeans can trigger acne. Is this true, if so,what are some alternatives for a vegan? any help would be greatly appreciated : )

Of course not, how could you believe such a thing? No basis in reality. Some meaty eater is yanking your chain.

Its different for different people. So don't worry about it, if you get wicked acne from it, then you know, and then you can find an alternative.

Only if you have some sort of allergy to it.Milk fat (mostly cheese) will cause acne and so can eggs. And if it's the isoflavones in soy that worry you, don't forget that dairy milk has many times more horomones, and they're pure animal horomones not plant analogues. If you find that you have an acne problem after going vegan, you are probably lacking in zinc, so just get a vitamin. Some extra vitamin E wouldn't hurt either...have a kiwi (loaded with vitamin E).
