after you pop it or it pops by itself. hydrogen will bubble up when its on your open zit, pimple, etc. and clean it up. it works i tried it before.

after you've cleaned your face with a cleanser to match your skin type,go ahead and dab some on your problem areas with a cotton ball or q-tip,then apply a mousterizer for your skin type.If it starts to get even more irratated in the area you put the peroxide then try not to use it it may be to strong for your skin, usually a peroxide based product is better because it's distilled and combined with other acne fighting components to clear your skin. Also somthing to think about is Witchhazel,it's used in alot of toners and certain cleaners for skin, perhaps you can try that itself, you should be able to find it in wal-mart or other retail store next to the peroxide and alcohol.

I did growing up. I used cotton balls. I would wash my face first, then go over it with the peroxide. It was almost like a toner. I always noticed the dirt that the soap left on the cotton balls. The oil on my face also cleared up. It works by cleaning and drying out the oily spots. I would not put it on a scrape and leave it there. It will burn the spot. My brother scraped his skin around a inch or so, and left it on. Dumb mistake. As long as you use it as a wipe, you are OK. There are many products out there. If you notice, many of them use hydrogen peroxide in them. Hope your skin clear well. Good luck!

My opinion is NO! It will dry your skin out something fierce! I only use it on an open wound to prevent infection. The fact that it can be used as a disinfectant should give you a heads up! Find a soap or facial scrub that fits your symptoms and go with that. Neutrogena is an excellent brand to use. Worst case scenario, see a dermatologist.

I think it would be a good idea. Or rubbing alcohol. Better than the expensive products they sell.
