there are no OTC meds for anxiety...but you can try natural remedies such as St. Johns Wort supplements. Chamomile, Valerian, and Lavender.

Believe it or not medications like Benedryl are pretty good for helping fight nervousness/anxiety. When I was in the hospital they gave it to me as an aternative to the anti-anxiety medicine I was on that was not working for me. Just make sure that you ask the pharmacist which one because there are several different types for all sorts of symptoms and you don't want to make yourself sick it.
