give it a rest for days. maybe your muscles are forced. i think u should need more stretching whenever ur going to cycle and just do this after ur muscle pain are gone.

it sounds like one of a few possible problems.one problem is just fatigue. if you have injured one leg in the past, sometimes it is weaker than the other leg. this should go away as the muscle grows, but don't push it too hard.another chance is that you have cycled too much and you have damaged the muscle. if you have torn the muscle, you wouldn't be able to walk, so that can't be the case. you might have pulled the muscle, which is a more common and more minor injury. you need to rest the leg as much as you can for at least a week or maybe two weeks. take the bus or drive instead of cycling! then start doing short trips on your bicycle and gradually build back up to your full speed and distance.you may also have hurt the tendons or ligaments behind your knee or in your ankle due to over-working them. this is usually called 'tendonitis' and the tendons will feel a bit spongy to touch. you will probably need to see a pysiotherapist to make this go away.whatever the problem is, i would recommend you go to the doctor and stop cycling until you know what is wrong. if you cycle with a bad leg, it will make the leg worse.
