...folliculitis or Acne? I have been getting yellowish/white pimple like bumps on my face and even on my scalp for the past year. I have visited a dermatologist and he suggested it was simply acne and gave me the appropriate medication. This being antibiotics ofcourse and a cream containig benzoyl peroxide which he said would prevent future breakouts. It doesn't seem to have any effect and I might be thinking it could be folliculitis. I have asked him if it was but he clearly denied it. Anyways I will have to revisit him if this medication continues to fail me.
