failure? I am 32, with Dialated Cardiomypoathy/Congestive heart Failure. I work full time now and the stress of it makes my heart get worse...I am not making enough money (my husband is in the Marine Corp.). I need to bring in more money and I am willing to get a second job, but I know that it will just make my heart worse, and could jeporidze my health. Is their any kind of goverment thing that can help someone like me? Like some kind of finical aid as a sublament so that I don't have to jepordize my health by trying to work a second job? Anyone know of anything that can help me? thank you.

Your husband is in the military, don't you have coverage. Call the Heart assn.www.americanheart.org
You might qualify for SSI benefits.

I am speaking from experience. I have had Dilated Cardiomypoathy/Congestive heart Failure since 1996 at the age of 26, I'm 37 now. Getting SSD is easy. but that is not what you need to worry about the most. If you are not making 'enough' money, on SSD you will be making less. If you already know you are getting worse because of the stress of one job, pushing yourself more will only mean you will end up being put on a transplant list that much sooner if you last that long. Why do you feel the need to push so hard. The bills will still be there even if you aren't. I worked 2 jobs for about 6 months and paid a heavy price for it. You could check the local welfare office to see if you qualify for food stamps, but most people working full time with a husband don't qualify for much financial assistance.
