I'm considering dating a guy in the military and I just wanted to know if there were any other people out there who've dated a person in the military. I'm fairly certain that he's not suffering from some kind of Post-Traumatic Stress disorder, but he's really defensive a lot of the time. I don't know why though. I was trying to avoid bringing it up, but I finally called him on it the other night. The explanation that he gave had more to do with him "supposedly" being "real. I guess. Moving on...Please share your experiences below.He's in the army btw. But....I guess because I've been stateside all of my life...I don't understand this propensity towards being really defensive ALL the time. Is it like some sort of mental things that's taught that can't be turned off if you're military personnel?
