I was having diarrhea so i took some medicine to stop it, it led to me not having to move bowels at all. So, then i took a laxitive to stop the constipation. It then led to more diarrhea, and yet again i took some pepto bismal. And now it feels like i dont have to go at all. I usally go 1 a day and i havn't gone at all. Any help?

It's time to stop with the medicine and let nature take it's course. Try eating lots of fiber and some yogurt and just wait it out.

In doing and undoing, have you taken this in your own hands? Have you consulted a proffessional? You can go take this or that and you can mess up your system and add to the problem while not finding out what caused the diarrhea in the first place. All the medications do is tighten the powerfull muscle valve or relaxing it, but the origin of the diarrhea remains a mystery because you are playing with your health! In the end you may dehydrate or cause various other problems including irritation and inflamation of your bowel as well as loss of important nutrients/minerals and needed friendly bacteria in your bowel and weaken your whole system. Your body's processes are interelated and you cause a systemic problem if you take things in your own hands without knowing what you are doing! Please do not act on your health out of someone's suggestions on taking remedies you do not know what affects will have.
