Just answered another question about making a huge gesture on V day to win an ex back- I felt I was in a similar situation....Me and my ex broke up a few months ago, but have stayed in touch, and have been getting on well. We haven't met up since the break up but that's more because we've both been so busy than anything, we do have plans to meet up for lunch soon.My fear is that by doing anything on valentine's day I will scare her away, come across overbearing, stalker-ish, and desperate. I do still have feelings for her, but would rather stay friends than lose her for good.What I'm thinking of doing is sending a card. Saying I'm glad we stayed in touch - that I hope it's okay to send the card and I don't want to ruin things.And maybe something like whatever happens I will never forget her, that she is amazing, beautiful and I will always treasure the time we spent together.Would that be a nice thought - or should I tone it down even more- or leave it altogether??
